Materials

NORSelast® supreme properties makes it almost indestructible

1. Estimated lifetime over 50 years in maritime environments
2. Tear strength up to 50 MPa and up to 600% elongation
3. Elastic down to – 30°C

Our NORSelast® systems:

NORSelast® 01
High tensile strength and a very high abrasion resistance. Certified according to DIN 53505, DIN 53504 and DIN ISO 4649 standards.

NORSelast® 02 – Improved properties for fiber reinforced hybrid composites. Certified according to DIN 53505, DIN 53504 and DIN ISO 4649 standards.
NORSelast® S4 – Designed to resist H2 S-acid in oil and gas processing.
NORSelast® EL – Antistatic properties.
NORSelast® PIR – Designed for stiffer components. Exhibits increased fire performance, reduced combustibility. Certified according to DIN 53505, DIN 53504 and DIN ISO 4649 standard.
NORSelast® Spray – An impenetrable coating system for fenders and buoyancies.
NORSelast® AF – Antifouling properties with less biocides.

NORSelast® is a polyether based material system which makes the material excellent for maritime environments. NORSelast® has resilience to hydrolysis which makes it robust to degradation and abrasion in harsh environments with a combination of sea water and strong forces of nature as well as light during transport and storage.

NORSelast® is a multi component system which makes it possible to produce high quality components with a wide range of different properties.
